UM LCD Display Shield

Overview

The UM LCD Display Shield is a compact color display expansion for Unexpected Maker development boards. It features a gorgeous colour IPS LCD display, with a massive 160x80 pixels in a 0.96" form factor, and uses the ST7735 driver chip.

Assembly Notes

The shield ships with the screen connected to the PCB but not affixed to the front panel. Users can solder header pins first, then attach the screen using the provided double-sided tape on the back of the screen.

The SPI CS pin configuration can be modified on the back by cutting and soldering jumpers.

Software Support

For Arduino IDE development, Unexpected Maker provides an example project utilizing the Adafruit ST7789 library. The project is available on GitHub in their um_shield_examples repository.
