Do I Need Drivers for My Board?

ESP32-S2 & ESP32-S3

If you are using an Unexpected Maker ESP32-S2 or ESP32-S3 board and are running Linux, macOS or Windows 8 or later, there are no drivers required.

For Windows 7 systems, you might need to install a Serial/JTAG driver.

ESP32

If you are using a TinyPICO or TinyPICO Nano, you'll need to install either the Silabs driver or the WCH driver for your OS.

Please see the related article on resolving serial port detection issues for additional information.
